Rental Terms & Refund Policy

Thank you for renting with Desi Closet — a local community project offering eco-friendly festive-wear rentals for kids in the Peninsula area.

Rental Duration

Each rental is for 3 days or 10 days, beginning on the rental start date you selected at checkout or confirmed by message. Your return date — 3 or 10 days after the start date — is shown at checkout and in your confirmation.

If you need an extension, please contact us before your pickup or return date — we'll try our best to accommodate if the outfit is available.

Pickup / Delivery / Return

Outfits are hand-delivered locally in Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, CA, or picked up in Redwood City, CA.

Please return the outfit on or before the agreed return date, in the garment bag provided.

Do not wash, alter, or iron the outfit yourself — Desi Closet will handle cleaning and care.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled start date receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start date may receive a credit toward a future rental, depending on availability.

No refunds are issued once the outfit has been picked up or delivered.

Damage / Loss Policy

A refundable security deposit may be charged for select items.

If an outfit is returned with stains, tears, or missing pieces beyond normal wear, the cost of cleaning or repair will be deducted from the deposit (or charged separately if no deposit was collected).

Non-Return

If an outfit is not returned within 1 days after the due date and no communication has been made, the renter agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the item.
